Presented by ASCO, COSA and IPOS, the symposium will draw together leaders in psycho-oncology and clinical care in the host country and elsewhere to discuss current gaps in care for people affect by lung cancer and their families; and identify priorities for future research, psycho-social support, care and advocacy. This will include consideration through a series of expert presentations of patterns of clinical care; the effect of stigma and therapeutic nihilism on lung cancer outcomes; models for psycho-social intervention and support.
